Scarpoe earned a BA in psychology 1992, worked full time in Radio during college to pay tuition, worked  in telecommunications from 1988 to 1998. At the end of 1998, started a media/satellite company with 5 others, sold the company in 2001. After the company sold he took 3 years off, not by design. In the last 15 years he has filed for bankruptcy, been unemployed for 6 of those years and has had 17 different jobs.

Diagnosed in 2000 with sever clinical depression, has taken countless antidepressants, has seen a myriad of doctors, therapists, and social workers, and has participated in a number of  experimental clinical trials for depression treatments. Recently has been diagnosed with, PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress Syndrome) and chronic migraine headaches.

This blog is written in between the dark and the light and is based on facts that can be verified by documentation and empirical accounts from family, friends and non-friends.

  2. I am glad you are doing so much better now and want to share your experience to help others. Sometimes when we need help or spiral back down a bit we feel too ashamed to ask for help. Here’s to always asking for help and giving life another passionate shot even when we feel worthless and unlovable.
