Excerpt from the memoir When it Rains...

9. The Surrender

As I find myself in life’s third act, I often wonder how I made it this far. It’s been a ride. The first act featured trauma and a need to grow up quickly. Act 2 contained both success and failure with the latter riddled with mental health issues. For act 3, I’ve made a conscious decision to serve. If I can somehow contribute to the evolution of man, this ride may be worthwhile.
